Manlia Scantilla, Augusta, 193. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.28 g, 6 h), Rome. MANL SCANTILLA AVG Draped bust of Manlia Scantilla to right. Rev. IVNO REGINA Juno standing front, veiled and head to left, holding patera in her right hand and long scepter in her left; at her feet to left, peacock standing left, head right. BMC 11. Cohen 2. RIC 7a. Nicely toned and with a very impressive pedigree. Numerous light scratches and porosity, otherwise, about very fine.
